Colin Armstong Twenty-five year old Colin Armstrong is a native San Diegan, but currently lives in Los Angeles furthering his music career. At the age of twenty-one Colin's first break came when he won the "BE A STAR" contest hosted by Ryan Seacrest on the L.A. area radio station STAR 98.7 FM. Since then the singer-songwriter, has continued to write and record his music for his debut LP “Lost and Anonymous” due June 15th. In 2005, Colin's song, "Lonely Fall," won Best Male Vocal and Best Song at the Orange County Music Awards. Colin also received a 2006 L.A. Music Awards nomination for “Pop Song of the Year” for his song entitled “Hey Yoko.” Colin co-wrote the song “In Your Eyes” which has made the American Idol Songwriter Top 20 with L.A. based writers Mikal Reid, Marti Frederiksen, and Bryon Holley. Colin will be touring in support of his independently released album this summer starting with an appearance at the City Stages Festival in Birmingham, Alabama Father's Day weekend.
